Tavish, Lord Carlysle

Regarded as an amiable buffon, Tavish Carlysle is nominally in charge of the military House. Real power, however, is concentrated in the hands of his younger brother, Lord Haldane.

Lord Loric Carlysle (believed deceased)
Born: 3470

Also known by his military title of Lieutenant Loric Carlysle. Loric served on Aquila and offworld in the miliatry for Carlysle.

On his return to Aquila, he was seconded to serve as aide de camp to Lord Anderon, the First Minister. Here he met Delan's youngest sister, Lady Renalda Anderon. Despite quarrelling almost innecessantly, they realised there was a strong physical attraction between them. When Renalda was forced to leave Aquila, Delan appointed Loric to accompany her.

As a result of a series of mishaps on their journey, Loric and Renalda were forcved to marry to prevent him being detained on a planet they visited. Just when it seemed they might find happiness together, their ship was invaded by space pirates and they were both captured, along with Gallfrey, the new Ambassador to the Empire.

That was twenty-five years ago - and nothing has been heard of them since, despite wide investigations.
