What has been happening in the past twenty-five years:

Year 0

Duke Maun is assassinated. Decuma (Harry) is born the same day. Delan Anderon is made Regent by Duke Maun on his deathbed.

Decuma Anderon Maun is born.

Lory Hoberty is killed. His wife Lady Gylda and son Stone are suspected of the crime. They retreat to the country rather than face charges.

Jack Anderon and Salla Lasse are kidnapped. They are rescued by Anna LeCleche, Lucien Tremontaine and John Hoberty. Lord Lagoran is also instrumental in the rescue. It marks the beginning of a rehabilitation in his reputation.

Anna enjoys brief fame, then her torrid past is made public and she retreats to a solitary existence.

Salla Lasse is sent off world for her own safety.

Rugero di Consola approaches Lord Stafford Rostay for Nellie's hand. But in the face of her family's resistance Nellie asks Rugero to wait.

Arturo Accaiao takes Rugero back into House Accaiao. Nellie and Rugero marry soon after.


Year 1

Giulian Anderon born to Delan and Bea.

Anna LeCleche vanishes, presumed lost in a landslide. Her memorial is on the Tremontaine estate.


Year 2

Jovanna Starr born

Nicola Acciaio and Iolanthe Greywood marry.


Year 3

Lilly Maun and Lucien Tremontaine marry

Honoria and Edmund marry and go off world.


Year 4

Alexander Tremontaine born to Lilly and Lucien


Year 5

Delan Anderon enacts legislation outlawing slavery from Aquila . It is not to be abolished overnight, but phased in over a ten-year period. The return concession to the Lasses is that Aquila will remain under the same stringent tech conditions for fifty years.

Harry and Decuma turn 5

Nira and Lagoran marry. Nira and Decuma join Lagoran's household.

John Hoberty becomes Decuma's tutor.

An assassination attempt is made on Delan Anderon. His son Giulian is crippled when the carriage Delan is in overturns and he is thrown from the top.

Kenton Lasse leaves Aquila to join Ky and see Salla. Bruno Lasse (a distant cousin) is left to represent the family. Kenton comes back for a period each year, sometimes with Ky. But Aquila is more their holiday home from this point on.


Year 6

Renata Tremontaine born to Lilly and Lucien


Year 7

Adrian Rostay and Bella Oswestry marry.


Year 8

Olivia Bahlmis qualifies as the first woman doctor on Aquila, and opens a Women's Hospital (with financial backing from several Houses, including Greywood)


Year 9

Lord Rostay, acting as an intermediary to Cardinal Maun, convinces Lady Hoberty and Stone and his brother to return to Aquila City

Lagoran spies attack house where Lord Rostay has hidden Lady Hoberty and her sons. They flee the city. Lady Hoberty dies in the escape. Stone and his brother are presumed dead.

Willif Hoberty becomes Lord Hoberty


Year 10

Cardinal Maun dies.

The Bishop of Aquila becomes Cardinal of the Church of Aquila .

Renalda (Nalda) Anderon born to Delan and Bea


Year 14

Olivia Bahlmis and Ethan Greywood marry


Year 15

Rosalor (Rose) Anderon born to Delan and Bea

Slavery finally abolished.


Year 17

Decuma Anderon Maun goes off world to study on Planet Earth (the homeworld)


Year 20

Gallfrey Anderon born to Delan and Bea


Year 22:

Harry goes off world for a year for study.


Year 24

Decuma Anderon Maun returns to Aquila


Year 25 - Now

The Cardinal of Aquila is forced to step down due to scandal. The Church of Aquila is expecting a papal envoy to resolve the succession.

Salla Lasse returns to Aquila

Two new Bahlmis cousins arrive (Treasa and her brother)

Harry and Decuma are about to turn 25 and reach their Majority. Delan Anderon must declare for one of the Duke's sons at that time.
