Count Odelinski, one of the Council of Equals
of Begma, and confidential adviser to the Queen -
uncle to Emilia Rodkonski

Count Nickolai Odelinski is the most trusted adviser of the Queen of Begma. Her husband the King thinks highly of him too.

He has come to Amber to negotiate a treaty that will gain Begma Amber's support in acquiring some lands along a border disputed with Kashfa.

He has brought his young niece with him - ostensibly to see Amber for the first time now that she has completed her education at the Convent of the Unicorn in Begma. Those who know the Count suspect he has come to arrange an advantageous marriage for his niece. Thise who dislike him whisper that he has come to sell the girl to the highest bidder.
 

Description
Nickolai, Count Odelinksi is a tall and dark, somewhat saturnine man, dressed in the dark morning coat and trousers that is formal wear for a Begman government official. His wing collared shirt is also standard wear, but the rich silk cravat, with touches of dark red suggests a certain individuality. He has a small beard, not quite a goatee, and dark and expressive eyes.
